Wesley Jennings wasn’t just a leading presence as a senior on the Warren County High School baseball team. He was an inspiration. At Monday’s WCHS baseball banquet, Jennings’ grind and determination to make an impact for the Pioneers was honored when he received the Hilda Lowry Memorial Award.Dawn Wanamaker and former Pioneer Brandon Lowry, a member of the 1992 state championship team, were on hand to present the award, given to the baseball player who showed excellence in sportsmanship and citizenship, to Jennings.
