Competing in marathons seems to run through the Hoover family’s blood.Freddy and Sarah Hoover will each compete in this April’s Boston Marathon after reaching qualifying standards in earlier events.Sarah qualified for her first Boston Marathon by running the Publix Marathon in Atlanta last March. She’s also qualified for the 2015 Boston Marathon by completing the Mercedes Marathon in Birmingham with a time of 3 hours, 29 minutes and 7 seconds. Freddy will be running in his ninth marathon after qualifying in the St. Jude’s Marathon held in Memphis last year.Sarah has followed in the footsteps of her father, who first ran the Boston Marathon in 2006.
