Industry Appreciation Day tournament held

During a beautiful and humid day on Monday, multiple industry and business representatives from around Warren County gathered for the 37th annual Industry Appreciation Day golf tournament at McMinnville Country Club.There were 83 participants with 21 teams and four members per team.All participants received a grilled lunch that was sponsored by the Industrial Development Board. Each participant also received a goody bag from several sponsors around Warren County.Some participants present included Sheriff Jackie Matheny, Director of Schools Bobby Cox and Warren County High School principal Jimmy Walker.Participants competed in an 18-hole tournament to see who took home the grand prize of $100 for each member of the team. A second-place finish got $75 per team member, third place got $50 per member, and fourth place got $25 per member.
