Anthony Palmer of McMinnville competed in the Light the Way 5K at Dollywood on Friday, Nov. 13. He finished sixth out of 1,928 runners with a time of 18:04. The race was held on a 30-degree night where race time was at 11 p.m. Palmer recently completed his senior cross country season running for Daniel 1 Academy out of Cookeville in the MTAC. He finished the season ranked third in the conference with his best finish of 17:32 in the final race.
