The WCHS golf teams were back in action Thursday afternoon as they traveled to Crossville to take on the Stone Memorial Panthers at Bear Trace Cumberland Mountain Golf Course.On the boys side, the Pioneers defeated the Panthers by 18 strokes, 363 to 381, to win the team competition.Levi Craven finished with 76 for the course to lead the Pioneers.Jaedan Pyburn shot 89, while Peyton Haston shot 93, and Nate Cantrell shot 105 rounding out the boys side for the WCHS golf team.On the girls side, the Lady Pioneers shot a team total of 101 for the course and defeated the Lady Panthers. Valeria Vargas shot 46 to lead the way for the Lady Pioneers, while Alli Mingle shot 55.The Pioneers and Lady Pioneers will be back in action this Wednesday at WillowBrook Golf Course, when they compete in the Red Raider Invitational.Tee time is set for 9 a.m.
