Cookeville once again proved to be a foil for Warren County girls sports teams. Powered by a hat trick from Megan Higbie, the Lady Cavaliers won 6-0 to end the Lady Pioneer soccer team's season.Cookeville, which advanced to the district finals with the win, has long been a thorn in the sides of the Lady Pioneers in all sports. Tuesday's lopsided loss came a week after the Lady Cavaliers topped the Lady Pioneer volleyball team in the district finals.Warren County coach Todd Willmore was hopeful his team would buck the trend, but Cookeville's fast start took the Lady Pioneers out of rhythm."They scored early and, unfortunately, that set the stage," said Willmore.
