After carefully considering his options, Warren County High School student Bracton Womack signed a letter of intent to play golf for Tennessee Tech, capping a standout senior year which included a Junior Cup, a top-10 finish in TSSAA Division 1-Class AAA State Golf Tournament, and being the most consistent top scorer on the WCHS golf team.“I was really relieved,” said Womack after the signing. “I’ve been considering different options and been receiving correspondence from several schools with interest for a while, so I’m happy to be able to continue playing a sport I care deeply about in college at a school like Tennessee Tech.”Womack’s parents, Chris and Emily Hennessee, were also relieved the decision-making process was over and although Womack will be wearing the purple and gold instead of the blue and red Pioneer uniform his golf game stays steadfast.“He’s always playing,” Chris said. “Even when he takes a short break in November and December he’s still hitting the golf ball, he never totally stops.
