After a Tuesday evening game in which Friendship The Baptist Church put on a base-hitting clinic, Thursday evening was slightly different when the team went toe-to-toe with The Believers for three innings. After three innings of heated play, the Friendship bats went on hiatus for the remainder of the game and The Believers pulled away and defeated Friendship by a final score of 27-13.The hitting was close through three innings and The Believers held a slight advantage with 16 hits, while Friendship was hot on their heels with 14 base hits.The Believers held a one-run advantage, 13-12, to start the top of the fourth. Scott Harrell started the top of the fourth with a double into the gap followed by a line-drive single by Jeff Chisam.
