The first freshman football game at Nunley Stadium in five years turned into a battle between Pioneer tight end Krojhn Calbert and Franklin County Rebel running back Michael Leslie. Leslie got just enough help to lead his team to a win.The Warren County freshman football team lost 20-12 despite Calbert hauling in four passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns from Pioneer quarterback A.D. Majors. Leslie led the Rebels by scoring two touchdowns and converting a two-point conversion try as well.While Calbert and Leslie took turns starring for their respective teams, it was Rebel kick returner Shane Smith who ended up stealing the show.
