A spectacular season for the Warren County High School boys freshman team ended one win short of a district championship.The Pioneers fell 72-50 to Cookeville in the District 6-AAA championship game played at Rhea County High School Saturday.Warren County, which entered the tournament as the No. 2 seed, beat White County 58-48 to earn its spot in the championship, but the Cavaliers were too strong in the title tilt.Saturday’s loss ended a great run for the Pioneer freshman team this year.
