With championship banners hanging from the rafters and former players packed in the stands, Morrison bid farewell to its historic gym Thursday night with a boys basketball victory over Irving College.The game itself was secondary to the nostalgia as Morrison alumni reminisced about the days of yesteryear and relived their glory on the hardwood.“When I walked in the door, the memories just came flooding back to me. It’s good to be back home,” said Christy Ross, who attended Morrison from kindergarten to eighth grade from 1975-84. During her time at Morrison, Ross played basketball and was a cheerleader.
