Trea Miller has reason to smile after hitting a money shot onto the Nissan Stadium field.

Titans fans hope their football team really tees off on opponents this year at Nissan Stadium.
The season is two months away, but there was plenty of teeing off Wednesday night.
Golfers were in full swing crushing balls from the mid-level deck of Nissan Stadium onto the football field as part of a driving range set up by Topgolf.
The golf range will remain at Nissan Stadium through Sunday with tickets still available at https://topgolf.com/us/crush/nashville.
“It’s not often you get a chance to hit golf balls onto the Titans football field,” said Warren County resident Trea Miller, one of several locals in attendance Wednesday. “It’s been an awesome experience.”
Topgolf is in the process of building a permanent 65,000-square-foot, three-level facility in Nashville that’s scheduled to open this fall. It will be the 35th location for Topgolf, which has announced it’s looking to hire 500 employees for the Nashville venue.
The course at Nissan Stadium gives participants a taste of the Topgolf excitement. Golfers aim at targets and go for distance as microchip balls provide digital scoring to track their progress.
Miller tried his best to outscore Brett Simmons, known for his prowess on the golf course, but Simmons emerged with bragging rights after posting an impressive score of 990 in just five shots.
“This is great for people of all ages and all skill levels,” said Jeehae Lee, whose official title is Topgolf director of crush. “If you look around at who’s playing and who’s having fun out here tonight, most of these people aren’t avid golfers. Our statistics show only 26 percent of our regular users classify themselves as avid golfers. This is for everyone.”
Lee, who played professional golf, says the course is challenging enough for advanced golfers, while also fun for those who are not so skilled. Where some people may feel intimidated at playing 18 holes on a real golf course, she says you don’t need to worry about proper etiquette at Topgolf.
It can also be much less of a time commitment as you can reserve a Topgolf bay for an hour and enjoy the luxury of food and drinks delivered as you play. Topgolf touts a chef-driven menu and a full line of beverages, along with big-screen TVs and music for your enjoyment.
If you shy away from golfing in the heat of summer or the cold of winter, Topgolf has climate-controlled bays so you can enjoy hitting year round. The upcoming facility in Nashville, located at 500 Cowan Street, will feature a 500-person concert venue, a first for Topgolf.
“It’s great for birthday parties and we even had a reveal party at one of our facilities,” said Lee. She said at the reveal party the husband and wife hit golf balls simultaneously and the Topgolf obstacles lit up in blue to signify the child was going to be a boy.
If you’re interested in the Topgolf experience at Nissan Stadium, tickets are available thru Sunday. It’s a festival-type experience with music, food and beverage trucks. Three bands are scheduled to play each day and a VIP lounge is available.
