It was a must-win scenario for team Evolution on Thursday as the girls battled to face Aaron’s Heat and Air in the double-elimination girls 10-12 tournament championship.Team Evolution rose to the challenge and won three games, becoming the 2017 season and tournament champs.Already down 1 loss to Aaron’s, Evolution had to come back in the loser's bracket, defeating Southern Girls earlier in the night to capture another shot at Aaron’s where they had to win two games.Since Evo won game one, 14-5, game two was scheduled for Friday evening. Both teams agreed they were eager to finish the tournament and decided on a doubleheader winner take all. Although they didn’t burn the midnight oil, it was pretty close at closing time.
