With senior night being held during the Oct. 11 Smith County game, perhaps the Pioneers got confused and forgot there was another home game. It looked that way as Rhea County easily beat the Warren County High School football team Friday night at Nunley Stadium. After a scoreless first quarter, the Eagles scored 31 second-quarter points on their way to a 41-7 blowout. The loss dropped the Pioneers to 1-8 this year while Rhea County clinched at least a share of the District 6-AAA championship while moving to 7-1.Warren County was a huge underdog on its home field as the district-leading Eagles visited McMinnville for the first time since 2009.
