Donald Hillis shuts down Juicy's
Donald Hillis Connor Williams got the start on the mound for the win against Juicys Wellness Caf on Monday night in boys ages 9-11 youth league season action.

After a week’s hiatus due to the Fourth of July holiday, Donald Hillis Realty looked to squeeze another season win in a makeup game against Juicy’s Wellness Café Monday night.
Hillis put the pressure on early, as Connor Williams, Garryn Duggin and Kyler Robinson all scored in the first inning for a 3-0 lead, and kept ahead of Juicy’s for the 7-2 win in boys 9-11 youth league action.
Juicy’s garnered a run making it a 3-1 ballgame as Josiah Laxson rounded home in the bottom of the first.
Juicy’s Wellness Café felt better after Jack Steagal made it a 3-2 game after two, not knowing it would be their last run of the ballgame.
Tacking on one in the third, Duggin scored again and Donald Hillis put it away in the fourth with scores from Jaxsyn Patterson, Seth Cruse and KeaganThompson for the 7-2 win.
Finishing the season this week, after making up rain delay games, the teams will start tournament play beginning next Monday, July 17.
