The Lady Pioneers may have to petition to take out the fifth innings of every game they play against the Coffee County Lady Raiders. For the second straight time, Warren County played Coffee County to a stalemate for four innings before the Lady Raiders erupted for four runs. The one inning of damage was enough as the Lady Pioneers fell 5-1 in the District 6-AAA tournament. It was a plot line the Lady Pioneers were all too familiar with when the game started to slip away in the fifth inning at White County High School. During the team’s last meeting, Coffee County scored four runs in the fifth to win 4-0, powered by a Taylor Gullett three-run home run. This time, it was Gullett who once again broke up a scoreless game.
