Two teams brought the fireworks during T-ball action at Midway on Monday. The Dirt Diamonds and Sprouts faced off in a battle of the top two teams in the league and they put on a show. The game was back-and-forth throughout, but in the end the Dirt Diamonds were victorious, 29-25, thanks to a nine-run explosion in the top of the fourth, in a game that went into extra innings.With the win, the Dirt Diamonds secured the championship, staying atop the league the entire season.The entire Dirt Diamond team contributed in the hit column as each player had at least a hit apiece, in the total team effort.Kane Woods, along with several other teammates, were key contributors and gave a valiant effort for Sprouts in defeat.
