Monday night’s semifinal game between the undefeated Dibrell Lady Wildcats versus the Centertown Lady Warriors went better than expected for the Lady Warriors, but not nearly well enough to end the perfect season of the Lady Wildcats. If the Lady Wildcats know anything about basketball, it is how to win and they have the offense to do it. Dibrell outscored Centertown 43-29 as the Lady Wildcats had three players finish with double-digit scoring.Bri Young led Dibrell in scoring with 12 points, and was followed closely by Kailey Wood and Grace Rains who had 10 points each. After the Lady Wildcats pounced early and completely shut out the Lady Warriors in the first quarter, the remaining three quarters looked bleak for Centertown. Young found six of her total in the first few minutes for Dibrell, but Dibrell’s defense was the story of the first quarter.
