The Lady Wildcat defense pushed the Lady Eagle ball handlers into bad decisions. An intense surge on the defensive end by Dibrell allowed Young to pick up baskets after the turnovers.

The Lady Eagles attempted to take off in the third despite the Dibrell pressure. Alexis Cory was the only Lady Eagle to score from the floor for six minutes.
Brielee Kelsey was fouled before she got the chance to hoist a shot. Kelsey shot 3-of-6 from the free-throw line and Gaby Monzon was fouled. She knocked down 1-of-2 and Morrison trailed 28-15 with one quarter to play.

Juju Pyburn and Megan Davis dropped shots in the closing minutes. Dibrell settled into a rhythm in the second half and left the Lady Eagles grounded.
Kelsey and Monzon scored late for Morrison as did Allie Childers. The Lady Eagle season came to an end after a 45-20 loss to Dibrell in the first round held Tuesday.
