The Warren County Middle School softball team entered the Central Tennessee Conference tournament as the No. 1 seed, but the Lady Pioneers needed extra innings to win their first tournament game.Warren County defeated Tullahoma 4-3 Tuesday as Lindsey Cox delivered the game-winning hit in extra innings.It was part of an impressive night for Cox, who earned the victory by pitching six innings and allowing three runs on six hits while striking out eight.Cox gave the Lady Pioneers a big lead to work with in the first inning. After Warren County took a 1-0 lead on an RBI triple by Livia Walker, Cox put two more runs on the board with two outs.With two outs, Walker stood on third, joined on the bases by Madison Mason and Lorren Cannon, who each drew walks.
