TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota apologized on Wednesday for his choice of words during his postgame news conference after Sunday's loss to Arizona. Mariota, speaking to reporters for the first time since Sunday, said he acted "rude and inappropriate" after an ineffective performance in the Titans' 12-7 loss to the Cardinals, in reference to how he played. The often low-key Mariota was asked if he was showing his competitive side.
