HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) — The Southern Miss women's basketball team will travel to Tennessee Tech on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup at 6 p.m.
The Lady Eagles (3-2) are coming off a 56-48 win over Samford in the championship game of the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic. Caitlin Jenkins led the way with a double-double performance, scoring 11 points and hauling in 11 rebounds.
Southern Miss is averaging 56.4 points and 37.6 rebounds per game while shooting 34.3 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the line
Tennessee Tech (2-3) is coming off an 88-62 loss at Northern Kentucky on Nov. 27. Samaria Howard scored a team-best 16 points, while Hannah Goolsby added 12 points and Treyvonna Brooks 11.
