If anybody knows the struggles Covenant is going through while starting up a high school program, it would be fellow local private school Boyd Christian. Covenant got a glimpse of what the future might hold Tuesday night at J.K. Stanley Gymnasium, along with finding out how far the Lions still have to go to be a competitive program. The Broncos won 65-19 on their home court, improving to 2-5 in the process.Boyd coach Chris Sullens realized after watching the game that Covenant is on the same path his school had to go through when establishing a team years ago.“Covenant is where we were 15 years ago while trying to start a program. I wish them nothing but the best.
