Broncos pick up third straight win

The Boyd Christian High School Broncos upped their undefeated record to 3-0 on the road Thursday, defeating the Providence Christian Academy Lions, 55-31.Denying entry into the lane, the Lions settled for shooting from outside and, while they scored 15 points on 3-pointers, their inside game was lacking.The Broncos didn’t have this issue as Joelah Solomon pounded the boards for a game-high 19 points. Adding to Solomon’s scoring frenzy was another big man on the team, Tyler Beaty and finesse shooter Trey Cantrell, who both hit for 14 points apiece.Also scoring for the Broncos were Jamison Brock with 3 points, Blaine Wilson and Jayden Reno both had 2 points, while Dallas Greene was good for one from the charity stripe.
