Who is going to be the team to beat this year in boys 7-8 grade basketball?Morrison and Eastside both look tough after going 2-0 in a playday Saturday at WCMS.In one of the most physical and intense games of the day, Morrison came from behind to edge WCMS, 34-31. The Eagles were able to get just enough from their full-court press, and benefitted from a pair of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, to capture the win. WCMS can point to missed foul shots as a big reason for the defeat as the Pioneers missed from the foul line time and time again in the second half.“I thought a big key was our rebounding,” said Morrison coach Kyle Cannon.
