Boyd salutes senior basketball players

The following seniors were honored Tuesday night at Boyd Christian High School during the intermission between games:
GIRLS
Erin Cantrell – Daughter of Wayne and Peggy Cantrell, she has attended BCS for three years. After graduation, her plans are to attend college at Freed-Hardeman and major in nursing.
Morgan DeWeese – Daughter of Dennis and Tammy DeWeese, she has attended BCS for 14 years. After graduation, her plans are to attend college and become a vet tech.
Rhiannon Hoover – Daughter of Jeff and Greta Hoover, she has attended BCS for 13 years. After graduation, her plans are to attend college and earn a nursing degree.
Mackinzie Pistole – Daughter of Mike Pistole and Kristie Pegg, she has attended BCS for 11 years. After graduation, her plans are to attend college at the University of TN-Chattanooga.
Emma Rhoton – Daughter of Kevin and Shelley Rhoton, she has attended BCS for six years. After graduation, she plans to attend college and become a teacher.
BOYS
Tyler Beaty – Son of Lewis Beaty, he has been attending BCS for three years. After graduation, he plans on continuing playing basketball in college.
Trey Cantrell – Son of Lane and Holly Cantrell, he has been attending BCS for two and a half years. After graduation, he plans on attending college.
Angel Morales – Son of Bernise and Michael Morales, he has been a student at BCS for three years. After graduation, he plans on continuing his education to become an English teacher.
Joelah Solomon – Son of Joe and Veronica Solomon, he has been attending BCS for one year. After graduation, he plans to attend college, play basketball and major in criminal justice.
Blaine Wilson – Son of Miles and Pam Wilson, he was joined at the ceremony by his grandmother Dot Snodgrass and brother Ryan Mason. He has been a student at BCS for 11 years and plans to attend college after graduation to pursue a career with the TBI.

The following seniors were also honored for their on-the-court achievements with a trophy ball after earning 1,000 career points: Tyler Beaty, Mackinzie Pistole, Trey Cantrell and Rhiannon Hoover.
