It’s been a great ride. Some time ago when our league manager decided to resign, I somehow got selected to take care of things until new officers could be elected. That’s been nine years ago.
I was one of the four officers elected to run the league. We must have done something right because we kept getting reelected each year.
It’s been super fun, I’ve got to work with a lot of wonderful people and have made many lasting friendships. But now it’s time for a change, I’m getting older and slower and the knees need an overhaul.
Next week we’ll elect new officers and the Gold and Silver League will continue to be one of the biggest and best at our center.
