Ray Bishop saw his long, distinguished career with the Warren County High School wrestling team end Thursday at the state tournament.Bishop, wrestling at 120 pounds, won one match at the Williamson County Expo Center in Franklin, but losses to two of the top seeds in the tournament ended up stopping the Pioneers’ potential run at a medal.In the opening round, Bishop lost to No. 5 seed Knox Fuller. The freshman from Bradley Central earned a pinfall victory in 30 seconds over Bishop and would go on to sweep through the top portion of the bracket – including a win over top-seed Devan Cyree from Tullahoma – to earn a berth in Saturday’s championship.
