Juicy’s Wellness Café pressed A-Plus Fasteners hard Tuesday night as the team won a decisive 10-3 victory in the boys 9-11 game on Sam Martin Field.A-Plus hitter Dawson Sullivan tried to get something started with a run early in the first inning, but A-Plus would have to settle for the 1-run lead as the team went out swinging.Juicy’s opened in the bottom of the first as Parker Smith, Kobe Cagle and Jonas Bailey all scored to make it a 3-1 ballgame before the inning ended.Holding A-Plus Fasteners to its early 1 run, Juicy’s made a statement in the bottom of the second with Josiah Laxson, Brayan Holquin, Smith, Bailey, Billy Ray Davis and Gerardo Mares all crossing home plate to make the deficit 9-1 and much deeper for the Wellness Cafe to escape.A-Plus Fasteners hung on and had its best inning in the third, scoring 2 more runs after Sullivan and Leo Castaneda both tacked on a run apiece, but at 9-3 it wasn’t enough to overcome the earlier shortfall.Juicy’s Wellness Café would add another run the third for an exclamation mark, as Smith scored for the third time for the final run.
