The second race of the West Coast tour ended with one of the closest finishes in NASCAR and the 0.01-second victory by Kevin Harvick over Carl Edwards was about as exciting as it gets. The two drivers started bumping side-by-side on the final lap, and as they rounded turn 4, it looked like one or the other would wreck. As they crossed the finish line, it required NASCAR to check its finish-line photo to declare Harvick the winner.
