TO THE EDITOR:I would like to share an example of the true meaning of Christmas, for me anyway.Last week, I went to a specialist about some health issues. I have dealt with severe pain for a long time but I never complained and I took care of my family.The doctor told me I needed the surgery but my insurance won't cover it. He said it would cost me $4,000 and he could schedule the surgery as soon as possible.Well that is a lot of money and I knew there was no way I could get that kind of money up.
