TO THE EDITOR:Thanks so much to those of you who expressed sympathy on the loss of several century-old trees at Falcon Rest Mansion during the Good Friday storm. Special thanks to the folks from Caney Fork Electric and Ben Lomand Connect, who labored well into the night to clear the roads where the trees fell and restore power and communication services. They’re heroes in our book.We are very grateful the mansion, other buildings, formal gardens — and especially people — were unharmed.
