TO THE EDITOR:In regard to the “Business Pulse” column in the Sunday, Aug. 30, issue of the Southern Standard, I’d like to point out something that should be taken into consideration concerning the median Warren County household income for the years 1979 ($11,922) through 2013 ($34,641). The column stated that “Based on these figures, Warren County’s household income has grown steadily through the years.” If inflation is taken into account, it would seem the median household income for Warren County has actually shrunk during that time.
