It was a rite of passage for my youngest son over the Labor Day weekend as we went for a family trip to Lake Winnie.We generally go to the park about once a year if not more and each year, for Henry anyway, it’s been the same thing. He will walk into the park and refuse to ride anything, scared by the slightest of kiddie rides. Then, after eating some cotton candy to steady his courage, he will slowly begin to consider some of the smaller rides.
