As we commence the 2024-2025 school year, I want to take a moment to discuss an important shift happening in our schools — one I believe will profoundly impact our students' success and well-being. Over the past few months, we've witnessed a growing movement across the country and within our state to rethink the role of personal electronic devices in schools. This movement has led to the introduction of a new policy in Warren County Schools aiming to limit the use of devices such as cell phones and smartwatches during the school day. The theme behind this policy is simple yet powerful: "Less Distraction, More Connection."
