Mr. W.R. Sims, 75, of Morrison died Monday, Aug. 27, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born May 27, 1943 in Lexington, Ala., served his country as a sergeant with the 101st Airborne division of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, was a supervisor with Carrier Air Conditioning where he was employed for 30 years, and a member of Shady Grove The Baptist Church. Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ines Barnett Sims.
