Mr. Windell Grover Stoner, 78, of Morrison (Smartt Station Community) died Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at his residence. He was born Oct. 9, 1945, in Athens, Ala., was a carpenter and electrician and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Stoner was preceded in death by parents, Grover Cleveland Stoner and Dorothy Florene Stovall Stoner; wife, Sarah Jane Willard Stoner; son, Jimmy Lynn Stoner; grandchildren, William Parker Turner and Jimmy Weston Stoner; and brother, Glen Stoner.

Survivors include his children, Vickie Donelson, Jackie Stoner, Sherry Turner (Kory Smith) and Teresa Stoner (Kevin) Davis; grandchildren, Alisha (James) Carr, Paul Turner (Paige), Brandi Turner, Trisha Donelson, Shelby Cagle (Tony), Greg Donelson, Brayden McLaughlin and Aiden and Emeri Cummings; great-grandchildren, Kayne, Kaylee and Kenzi Turner, Weslynn Carr, Kaiah, Krymson and Khyren Turner, Lora Lei Leichtfuss and Barrett Carr; sisters, Marie (Louie) Mason and Doris (Bob) Asbury; brothers, Bobby Stoner, Billy (Linda) Stoner, Jerry (Connie) Stoner, Mike Stoner and John Kenneth Stoner; and son-in-law, Brian McLaughlin. Many nieces, nephews, family members and friends also surviving. 

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 8 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Teddy Jones will officiate.  Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery. The Stoner family received friends Thursday, March 7, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again Friday, March 8, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
