Wilma Ruth Powers died June 23.

Wilma Ruth Powers, 86, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born May 29, 1931 and died June 23 in St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital following a brief illness.
She was a retired employee of Genesco, member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ and daughter of the late Marion Francis and Myrtle Christian Panter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Frank Goglio; three sisters, Wavie Stacy, Jadie Clendenon and Pearl Boyd; four brothers, Aud Panter, Dub Panter, Jack Panter and O.C. Panter.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Janalynn and Maurice Azevedo of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Patsy and John Cunningham of McMinnville and Frankie and Monty Welch of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren, Brandon Shane Pritchett, Tyler Franklin Azevedo, Chantel Goglio Saylors, William Jeffery Stepp, Joe Eric Hennessee and Aislyn Rhiannon Welch; step-grandchildren, Mark Azevedo, Nicole Camping, Deedee Dytmire, Doug Parkison and Shondee Foster; great-grandchildren, Hunter Camping, Elisha Azevedo, Madison Camping, Eden Azevedo, Ashlie Roland, Jordan Roland, Lucas Stepp, Lexie Saylors, Blake Walker, Cameron Stepp, Savannah Saylors, Dylan Stepp, Ashley Saylors and Sebastian Hennessee; and great-great-grandchildren, Houston George, Tysen Sellers and Branlee Sellers.
Funeral service was Wednesday, June 28 in High’s Chapel with Trent Key officiating. Interment followed at Hills Creek Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
