Wilma Jean Stubblefield, 79

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Wilma Jean Stubblefield, 79, was born Feb. 21, 1938 and died July 9 at her niece’s residence in Tullahoma following a brief illness.
Retired from Century Electric and A.O. Smith and a member of Clark United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Lue Edith Richardson Stubblefield. She was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Alfred Ramsey.
She is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Marguerite and Lee Cooley of Manchester; seven nieces and nephews, David Cooley, Keith Cooley, Todd Cooley, Adrienne and Rob Leray, Patricia Cooley and friend Troy Vance, Ann Bryant, and Wendy Cooley; 10 great-nieces and great-nephews; four great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and numerous cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at High’s Chapel with Rev. Gerald Harlan officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service Thursday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at
