Palm Bay, Fla., resident and Warren County native Willodene Tuck Grandey, 89, was born Aug. 1, 1925 and died June 8 at her residence following a sudden illness.
A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late E.J. and Violet Lillian Greer Tuck. She was married to Philip A. Grandey, who preceded her in death April 3, 2003. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Billy Joe Tuck.
She is survived by five children and their spouses, Teddy Brent and Sherry Grandey Sr. of McMinnville, Phyllis Manuel of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Tim Grandey of McMinnville; Andrea Jane and Ernest Pierce of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Gina Ramona Krantz of Hendersonville; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Pearsall of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with Charles K. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, and from noon until the time of service Saturday at High’s.
