McMinnville resident and White County native Willie Geneva Snider, 93, was born Feb. 21, 1921 and died Sept. 28 at River Park Hospital.
A homemaker and a member of Jehovah’s Witness, she was the daughter of the late William Stephens and Minerva Ethel Lewis McBride. She was married Oct. 14, 1950 to Smith Linell Snider, who preceded her in death May 13, 2007. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Milton Snider; daughter, Verla Hagan; and five grandchildren, Steve Snider, Sabrina Merritt, Jamie Luna, Nicholas Luna and Jackie Snider.
She is survived by three children and spouses, Marla and Stan McAmis of Morrison, Luther Luna of Smithville, and Burgess and Janie Luna of McMinnville; 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 37 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruby Young of Morrison.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in High’s Chapel with Andrew Cogdill officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High’s.
