Mr. William H. “Bill” Brown, 88, of McMinnville died Thursday, Feb. 22, at his residence surrounded by family. Born April 17, 1929, in Detroit, Mich., he was a self-employed mechanic, a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, and a volunteer fireman for Centertown Fire Department for 31 years. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by parents Charles Brown and Carrie Hutchinson Brown Thomas, wife Georgia Dee Brown, brothers Charles Henry Brown and James William Thomas, sister Marie Patrick, son William Larry Brown, grandson William Jason Youngblood, and great granddaughter Haley Ann Taylor.
