William Earl Miller, 78, of Rock Island died Thursday, Jan. 7 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. He was born Aug. 24, 1937 in Warren County and was a retired employee of A.O. Smith and a member of Berea Church of Christ. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by parents, Bertle and Lena Mai Rutledge Miller.Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Frances Deloris Miller; children, Bruce Alan Miller and Kimberly Danielle (Mark) Swenson; grandchildren, Hunter and Tucker Swenson and Abby and Cody Miller; sisters, Bettye Patton, Brenda Mitchell, and Diana (Murl) George; and a brother, Larry (Becky) Miller.
