William Carl Myers, 71, a McMinnville resident and Pikeville native, died July 2 at his residence following a sudden illness.He was a retired manager with Jet Manufacturing, a member of Smartt Church of God, and son of the late Vester and Beatrice Neely Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Ricky Myers; and sister, Judy Myers.Mr. Myers was married July 14, 1963 to Lucinda “Lucy” Beasley Myers, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children and spouses, Donna and Bob Eschenbacher of Morrison, Stan and Latisha Myers of Woodbury, Vivian and Jeff Sullivan of Murfreesboro; and Edwin and Pam Myers of McMinnville, 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Chester and Bess Myers of Sparta; sister, Sharon Jordan of Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews.
