McMinnville resident and Warren County native Wilbert Hale, 79, was born Nov. 25, 1938 and died Feb. 20 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. Retired from Radix Wire and a member of Long Mountain Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Skiler and Cora Opia Hathaway Hale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Alan Hale; brother Bernice Hale; and twin sister, Willie Pauline Hale.
