Mrs. Wandalee Doris Davis, age 91, of McMinnville, died Friday, March 22 at N.H.C. HealthCare. She was born November 8, 1932, in Grand Glaise, Arkansas, was a member of West End Church of Christ, a cook with N.H.C. and worked at RiverPark Hospital as a Pink Lady for several years. She crocheted and quilted, and loved to make quilts to give to family and to make lap quilts for the patients at N.H.C. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd Cecil McSpadden and Nancy Mahalia Wheeler McSpadden, husband Ruben Lee Davis, four sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include her children Gloria Jean (Fred) Bivens, Victor Lee Davis, Walley Louis Davis, Don Marlin (Carolyn) Davis and Marilyn Marie Davis; sisters Barbara French, Rindasue Barnett and Kaye France; brother Gerald (Joyce) McSpadden; sister-in-law Jo Higgins Ruffer; grandchildren Freddie (Sherri) Bivens, Jr., Keri (Greg) Smith, Jason (April) Bivens, Anna Rembiszewski, Charity (Cathy) Jones, Teressa (Chris) Russell and Christopher Davis, 12 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Freddie W. Bivens, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at McMinnville Funeral Home.
