Wanda Louise (McCormick) Roberts, 85, a resident of Brownsburg, Ind., and Warren County, native died May 10 after an extended illness.
She was retired from Link Belt after 15 years. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Melvina (Delaney) McCormick of Campaign. She was married to Lloyd F. Roberts of Avon, Ind., and Warren County native for 69 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Alvin (Dorothy), Malcolm and Johnny McCormick Jr., and sister Helen (Olie) Cooper.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband Lloyd F. Roberts of Avon, Ind.; son, Wayne (Kathy) Roberts of Avon Ind.; three daughters, Diane (Steve) Loomis of Indianapolis, Ind., Rhonda (Steve) Patterson of Brownsburg, Viki (Todd) McEwen of Pittsboro, Ind.; grandchildren, Amy Loomis of Ft. Myers Fla., Leslie Roberts of Greenwood, Ind., Tracy Snyder, Jessica McEwen of Brownsburg, Justin Roberts, Brian (Melissa) Patterson of Indianapolis; great grandchildren, Kendra and Tyler Snyder, Evan Risner, Addie Roberts, Amaiyah McEwen, Emma Dean, Brook, Brynna Patterson. She is also survived by seven brothers, Harry (Sally) McCormick, Billy (Lana) McCormick of Indianapolis, Franklin (Carol) McCormick, Norman (Doris) McCormick, Nolan (Joan) McCormick, Jimmy (Debbie) McCormick of Campaign, Eddie (Susan) McCormick of Bone Cave; two sisters, Shirley (Greg) Elmore of Elmore S.C., Carolyn (Dave) Rodocor of Arizona; sister-in-law, Wanda McCormick, several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at High Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 2 p.m. at Crain Hill Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Crain Hill Cemetery Association in care of Milton Russell, 15636 Rocky River Rd., Rock Island, TN 38581.
