Walter Franklin Blair, 75, of Smithville died Sunday at his residence. He was a member of Gath Baptist Church, a retired diesel mechanic and truck driver, and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Alma Capshaw Yeargin Blair; sister Lillie Mae Jones; and two brothers Virgil Blair Jr., and Gentry Blair.
