Vivian Carol (Carter) Woodlee, 79, left her home in Lenoir City on Jan. 4.

She was born July 7, 1939 in McMinnville to the late Jess Carter and Nora (Case) Carter. Carol was the founding owner of Carol’s Flowers in Lenoir City and later retired from Kroger. She was an active member of Lenoir City Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Buford Ray Woodlee; sister Lois Carter; brother Edward Carter; and sister Emogene Canaster.  

Survivors include daughter Cynthia Woodlee Miller; son-in-law Hugh Miller; granddaughters Jessica Miller Shirley and husband John Shirley, and Kelly Miller of Knoxville; sister Betty Sidener of Springfield, Ill.; sister-in-law Helen Carter of St. Augustine, Fla.; longtime treasured friend Doris Bolton; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Mr. Steve Riley officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1 p.m. CST on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Riverside Cemetery in McMinnville for interment.
