McMinnville resident and Plymouth, Ind., native Virginia L. Lee, 56, died Jan. 20 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after an extended illness.A factory worker, she attended the Church of God and was the daughter of the late Bobbie J. (Elrod) Alday and Richard A. Lee Sr. She was preceded in death by brother, Robert N. (Pee Wee) Lee.She is survived by daughter, Sherry M. Carr and fiancé, Ray Turner; son, Billy (Shawn), and wife Amanda McCormick, all of McMinnville; brothers, William (Bill) and wife, Nicole Lee of Tullahoma; Richard (Dickey) Lee Jr. and wife Marian Saunders of Tullahoma; special friends, Patesy Howitt, Betty Yates, Phyllis Reed and Jimmy Woodlee and family, Adoff and Jean Woodlee, John Anderson and wife and family; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Joe King and Tim McCormick officiating.
